Overview
Loman partners with First Delivery to automatically dispatch on-demand drivers (such as DoorDash and Uber Direct) for restaurants that don’t have their own in-house delivery team.
This allows restaurants to offer delivery with

✅ No additional cost to the restaurant
✅ Fully automated driver dispatch
Requirements & Limitations
Before enabling First Delivery:
Payments must be enabled
Maximum delivery radius: 10 miles (route-based)
Custom delivery pricing is not currently available
Delivery Order Type/Dining Option (POS dependent)
Who Pays What?
The caller (customer) pays:
The food total
The delivery fee
The driver tip
Restaurants receive the full food subtotal.
Example: How Pricing Works
If a caller places a $50 order:
Food: $39
Delivery fee: $7
Driver tip: $4
Customer total: $50

Delivery Quote & ETA
When the caller provides their delivery address:
Loman instantly fetches the delivery price and ETA
Order & Driver Dispatch
Once:
Payment is completed
The order is successfully sent to the POS
First Delivery automatically requests a driver.
Live Tracking
When a driver is assigned to delivery their order, First Delivery texts the caller a tracking link:
The tracking page includes:
Live driver map
Estimated arrival time
Optional top banner (customizable by the restaurant)
A phone button to contact the driver if needed
Restaurant owners can monitor delivery status directly inside the Loman Dashboard.
This allows restaurants to:
See driver assignment
Monitor progress
Confirm delivery completion
Refunds
If there is a delivery issue:
Please contact DoorDash or Uber Support if there are issues with the order.
Cancellation:
- When an order is cancelled from the POS, the first delivery driver is also cancelled.
